Bhumi Pujan at Dhadikar Village

The CSR team along with the partner organization, SPECTRA, conducted a short inauguration programme on 4th July, 2020 at Dhadikar village in order to start the work intervention under the project titled: “SHGs for Sustainable Water Resource Management and Restoration of Water Resources- Phase 3”. The event was successfully accomplished in the presence of Mr. Rajesh Kumar (Sarpanch), Mr. Rohitas Gurjar (Secretary), Mr. Ratan Singh Choudhary (Technical Guide) and Mr. Pradeep Singh Pundhir (Managing Director of SPECTRA). From SPECTRA staff team Mr. Devendra Gautam, Mr. Naseeb Khan, women from SHGs and nearby villagers were also present at the site during the inauguration programme.

The Project is designed to work for sustainable water resource management and restoration of water resources in four villages of Umren Block of Alwar district, Rajasthan. During the inauguration programme Mr. Rajesh Kumar and Mr. Rohitas Gurjar were appreciated about the intervention planning and the way of empowering women through the project. Mr. Ratan Singh Chaudhary (Technical Guide) elaborate about the site work planning, Mr. Pradeep Singh Pundhir (Managing Director of SPECTRA) elaborated about the project intervention and organization in short, Devendra Ji and Naseeb Ji said in brief about the work procedure and way of engaging SHG in the site work.

SHG women and the villagers expressed themselves very happy with the programme. As in Dadhikar, Lapala village the ground water status is very serious and there is no proper drinking water supply system in village. Women are very happy that they have given the opportunity to work in the site construction.

Further work will execute under the guidance and leadership of Mr. Ratan Singh Choudhary as he is having the DPR for the site work.
