In what can be termed as a very pleasant surprise, our team got a mail a few days ago, stating that Gender Matters has been ranked 7th out of Top 50 Gender Equality Blogs worldwide! The ranking, done by Feedspot, is based on various criteria- 1)Google reputation and Google search ranking, 2) Influence and popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites, 3) Quality and consistency of posts, and 4) Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review.
To say we are thrilled and proud would be an understatement. Along with this, we also feel a sense of great achievement, that our blogs on a multitude of issues- ranging from online safety, current affairs, interviews, to our own field work and projects- is reaching out to a large number of people, and making a small contribution towards the society.
