On 16th April, our team consisting of Mr Amitabh Kumar, Ms Suhasini Mukherjee and Mr Erik Becker, made a visit to GD Goenka University in Sohna, Gurugram, for a workshop titled “Tweesurfing and Gender Justice”.
The workshop comprised of about 50 students, and while the team conducted various activities like the Tanagram (to stress on the importance of effective and clear communication), and the Bull Ring (where the importance of block, report, mute and ignore are stressed upon), the prime focus of the workshop was on how behaviour on social media, must be gender sensitive, and must be used to achieve gender justice.

Our team talked about issues of gender, uniqueness, vulnerability, along with discussing the impact of pre constructed gender roles on boys and girls, and their relationships with each other.
Finally, the team answered a few queries of the students, and were provided with letters of appreciation by the coordinators for the engaging workshop.
