As we say good bye to 2015, it is time to reflect on our successes of the year. Out of the many accomplishments of CSR, noteworthy is that this is the year where the CSR blog found a new identity in the form of Gender Matters, and reached new heights in terms of its outreach. We also started our campaign #WriteWithUs, wherein we invited contributions from our readers from various walks of life. The response we received was overwhelming, to say the least, as we received more than 60 blogs under this campaign. For 2016, we are planning to compile the best blogs of 2015 into a coffee table book, to be released on the 8th of March.
We hope to carry on our #WriteWithUs campaign on to this new year, and invite contributions from all our readers, on matters related to gender. Every month, the most read blog will be awarded a stipend and a certificate of appreciation, along with various mentions on our social media platforms.
At CSR, we believe that it is only when all members of civil society engage an intellectual discourse on significant matters, does change happen. We hope to connect with more of you this coming year, and work towards our aim of a more gender-just society, through our blog. As William Zinsser once said “Writing is thinking on paper”
