Field visit in Alwar

Planning Meeting held at Krapavis & Field Visit in Kali Khol, Alwar

Centre for Social Research with its experience of capacity building of women in water conservation and climate change along with its interventional experience in Kali Khol of Bakhtpura Gram Panchayat and its local partner KRAPAVIS. CSR will conduct capacity building trainings on water conservation and climate change based on its existing basic training module and advanced level technical training module. This will be followed by hand holding the SHG’s to carry forward the restoration, repair work or installation of a new common water source for the village.

Field visit in Alwar

This water source will be maintained as a common property by the SHG group with the support from the communities. So in order to initiate the implementation of the activities, CSR conducted a one day planning meeting in Alwar on September 7, 2018 with the local partners and field visit in various hamlets of Kali Khol i.e. Kali-Khol village, Rundh-Kali-Khol & Bandha-Ka-Bas in order to identify the exact requirement related to water structure and to mobilize and discuss the problems with women. The discussions were specifically carried out with a group of women which comprised of few SHG women, active women leaders and various community women.

Field visit in Alwar

This visit helped CSR team members i.e. Ms. Ritika Bhatia, Ms.Esha Chaudhuri & Ms. Ishani Hazarika to mobilize the women and other community members about upcoming developments and to seek their support in the same. The visit also helped CSR to plan its further activities and it formally discussed the same with KRAPAVIS. Now CSR is looking forward to conduct the basic three days training between October 21 to 24, 2018.
